Speak Out DeKalb
Here's your chance DeKalb County to Speak Out on the issues and stories that affect you. You may call every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 597-4119 or simply fill out the field below and click submit.
We encourage all DeKalb County citizens to voice their opinions, suggestions or complaints about local news, sports or community issues. Please limit the length of calls, as they are taken over an answering machine.
These calls are NOT the opinions or views of The Middle Tennessee Times, but are the opinions and voices of people in our local community. All calls and internet forms are anonymous (we do not know the identity).
All names, proper names and places will be edited from each Speak Out. Calls may be edited for brevity or clarity. The Middle Tennessee Times reserves the right to edit or omit subject matter or editorial comments. Slanderous or malicious comments will not be printed.
For reasons of fairness Speak Outs will not be accepted concerning candidates or elected offices during election campaigns, unless they directly address an issue in the news. A Letter to the Editor on campaign issues may be considered if it is signed, with a return phone number.
