Ronnie Anderson

Funeral services were held for Ronnie Anderson, 58, on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria. Brother Jason Lohorn officiated, with interment in the Hillview Cemetery.

He died on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at the University Medical Center in Lebanon.
A resident of Watertown, Mr. Anderson was born in Kentucky on November 4, 1949, a son of Flem and Reba Neal Anderson. He was an Army veteran, a retired Police Officer and was affiliated with the Philadelphia Free Will Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Flem Anderson; a sister, Tammy Spencer; grandparents, John and Jewell Neal and Jeff and Cordie B. Anderson; an uncle, Parker Anderson; and by an aunt, Carrie Brant.

He is survived by his mother, Reba Neal Anderson of Watertown; a son, Ronnie Anderson of Michigan; a daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Rand Hewitt of Michigan; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Linda and Butch Allen of Liberty and Brenda Anderson of Utah; and by a brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Pam Anderson of Columbia.

He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Sabrina Hayes, Tabitha Daniels, Becky Omen, Andrea Edmond, Nicole Eberstein, Shannon Anderson, Jodie Spencer, Kammy Spencer, John Spencer and Ryan Eberstein; and by great nieces and nephews, Brianna Daniels, Kristina Tyree, Elizabeth Edmond, Honesty Spencer, Kylee Omen, Keigen Daniels, Joshua Tyree, Chase Helzer, Hunter Spencer, Jackson Spencer, Kelton Omen and Kolton Omen.

The Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria was in charge of the arrangements.

Virgin George Harrell

Funeral services were held for Virgin George Harrell, 85, on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home in Smithville, with interment in the DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

She died on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at NHC Healthcare Center in Smithville.
A resident of Smithville, Mrs. Harrell was a retired nurse and was affiliated with the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Harrell; and by her parents, James and Lilly Hibdon George.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas G. and Emily Harrell of Alabama; three grandchildren, Rachel Oglesby of Maryland, Catherine Harrell of North Carolina, and Travis Harrell of Alabama; and by two nephews, Carl George and Kenneth George, both of Nashville.

Pallbearers were Tom George, Kenneth George, Carl George, Tommy Webb, Tommy Alexander and David Terrell.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home in Smithville was in charge of the arrangements.

Chester Rick Estes

Funeral services were held for Chester Rick Estes, 65, on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home in Smithville. Brother Glenn Chapman and Brother Robert Presley officiated, with interment in the Hale Cemetery.

He died on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at Alive Hospice at St. Thomas Hospital.

A resident of Smithville, Mr. Estes was a retired nurseryman, and was affiliated with the Pentecostal Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Henrietta Estes; two sons, Stevie Joe and Ronald Estes; his parents, Les and Eula Mae Thomas Estes; and by three brothers and two sisters, George, Alfred and Harold Estes, Dorothy Underwood and Annie Bell Estes.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James and Joann Estes of Smithville; his fiancé, Darlene Summers of Smithville; her two sons and a daughter-in-law, Timmy and Dorothy Summers and Jimmy Summers, all of Smithville; her daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Ricky Warner of Smithville; a daughter-in-law, Sheila Estes; and by 14 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He is also survived by two sisters, Ruth Martin and Forrest Byrd of Smithville and Frances and Jerry Underwood of Woodbury.

Pallbearers were Jimmy Martin, Terry Underwood, James Underwood, David Martin, Barry Estes and Brent Estes.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home in Smithville was in charge of the arrangements.

Faye Lohorn

Funeral services were held for Faye Lohorn, 71, on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home in Smithville. Brother Mike Carpenter and Brother Jason Lohorn officiated, with interment in the DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

She died on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at Baptist Hospital in Nashville.

A resident of Smithville, Mrs. Lohorn was a greeter at Wal-Mart and was a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Taylor and Winnie Summers Taylor.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Don Lohorn of Smithville; two sons and daughters-in-law; Jason and Nikki Lohorn of Alexandria and Coy and T.J. Lohorn of Smithville; a daughter and son-in-law, Greta and Chris Mick of Smithville; and by nine grandchildren, Justin, Austin, and Hayden Lohorn, Briley and Logan Dailey, and Madison Mick, all of Smithville, and Paige, Ally, and Hannah Lohorn, all of Alexandria.
She is also survived by six brothers and five sisters-in-law, Buddy and Brenda Taylor, Ronnie and Gail Taylor, Jerry Taylor, and Jimmy and Rita Taylor, all of Smithville, Ricky and Diane Taylor of Smyrna, and Tony and Vicky Taylor of Murfreesboro; and by seven sisters and five brothers-in-law, Christine and Melvin Reeder, Linda Kilgore, Peggy and Ralph Tramel, Judy and Ronnie Redmon, Darlene Jones, and Sandy and Cameron Dunn, all of Smithville, and Mary and Jack Ludy of Smyrna.

Pallbearers were Mike Smalley, Jeff Taylor, David Kilgore, Ronnie Redmon, Jr., Charlie Tramel, Jerry Wayne Taylor, Charles Reeder, Shannon Taylor, Pete Taylor and Miles Taylor.

Robbie Nell Tramel

Funeral services were held for Robbie Nell Tramel, 82, on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home in Smithville. Brother Tommy Taylor officiated, with interment in the Snow Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
She died on Sunday, June 8, 2008 at her home.

A resident of the Snow Hill Community in DeKalb County, Mrs. Tramel was retired from the Valdor Shirt Factory and was affiliated with the Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Washington Tramel; her parents, Thomas Floyd and Mary Elizabeth Taylor Hale; and by two brothers, Floyd Hale, Jr. and Robert T. Hale.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Georgia and Michael Young and Martha and Tim Cantrell, all of Dowelltown; a grandson, Nelson Young of Dowelltown; three granddaughters, Latonya Kleparek and her husband Dylan of Smithville, and Dana Cantrell and Ashley Young, both of Dowelltown; and by four great grandchildren, Cody Allen Goff of Dowelltown, and Jasper David Kleparek, Jacklyn Rose and Jaxon Paul, all of Smithville.

She is also survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Doris and Elmus Johnson and Betty Jo and Aubrey Wright, all of Smithville; and by a brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Joyce Hale of Liberty.

Pallbearers were Shannon and Bobby Hale, Jason Poss, Jason and Brad Johnson, Shane Miller, Nelson Young and Dylan Kleparek.
